ZH RACING Z-423B 1:5 Race Bike Kit
The latest 1:5 race bike from ZH-Racing, the Z-423B, brings together proven ZH-Racing design with a number of important updates aimed at improving handling, adjustability and ease of setup.
Built using high-quality materials and precision-machined components, the Z-423B delivers the level of craftsmanship expected from a serious race bike, while remaining in a very affordable price bracket for a purpose-built 1:5 racing motorcycle.
At the heart of the bike is an updated twin-damper steering system, designed to provide smooth, controlled steering response while giving racers plenty of scope to fine-tune the bike to suit their driving style and track conditions.
The Z-423B uses a traditional 540-size brushless motor, mounted neatly between the carbon fibre chassis plates. The updated chassis layout provides easy access and plenty of room for installation of your preferred ESC and receiver, making electronics installation and maintenance straightforward.
Refined Front-End Design
ZH-Racing's proven oil-filled front forks feature adjustable preload caps and pivot from an updated headstock design. The combination provides a compliant front end that keeps the tyre planted on the track while allowing the bike to absorb bumps and changes in the racing surface.
The front brake system uses a traditional cable-operated design, with the cable running to a one-piece front caliper and lower fork foot assembly. A compact mini servo operates the front brake, while steering duties are handled by a conventional low-profile 1:10-scale servo.
Updated Hubs & Wheel Compatibility
The Z-423B features updated alloy wheel hubs, designed to accept RG-style GRP rims and tyres. This gives racers access to a proven range of high-performance racing tyres and allows the bike to be set up specifically for different track conditions and grip levels.
High-Performance Rear Suspension
At the rear, the Z-423B uses a high-volume oil-filled X-Rider rear shock, the same proven damper design used on the X-Rider TE Scorpio. This provides smooth and consistent suspension action, helping the bike maintain traction and stability as track conditions change.
Built for Racing
The updated chassis gives racers a wide range of setup options, allowing the Z-423B to be tuned to suit different track surfaces, grip levels and driving preferences.
