Steering damper magnetically with aluminum housing. Length in neutral position from eye to eye approx. 100mm, travel distance approx. 5mm per direction, housing diameter approx. 9mm. The steering damper is of high processing quality, the linkage goes completely through, with which a uniform resistance in both directions is achieved. Instead of springs, 4 magnets inside the damper provide the desired resistance, which can still be changed via washers. The magnetic steering damper offers advantages over the spring-based system, especially on narrow, technically demanding lines with little grip. The damper is nevertheless filled with oil.
